Memorial of Christ's death - in Olathe, Kansas with friends

Each year on the evening that corresponds with the lunar Passover, Jehovah's Witnesses observe a memorial of Christ's death as he instructed his followers to do at his passover meal with his apostles.  It is the only thing that Jesus said his followers should observe - not his birth or even his resurrection, but to 'do this in remembrance of me', referring to passing the bread and wine symbolizing the New Covenant for a kingdom.

So, though we really wanted to be with our dear new friends in Guatemala, we were happy to be in Olathe to attend the Memorial with them.  As our most recent congregation was Santa Fe Spanish, we attended with them.  Here are some pictures at the Memorial, and some afterward at a restaurant.
