The core of the home is an old adobe house, and that is what is on the walls of our living room. An architect bought the house, and made some beautiful and intriguing features.
First, in the entryway, there is an interesting hand-done ceiling with diamond patterns that echoes the floor, and some glass blocks to the floor above us (which is occupied by some friends).
The door on the right is a small guest bathroom with some interesting tilework.
The door on the left in the top photo is a guest bedroom with a queen and a twin bed, and that has its own bathroom and closet, and some interesting windows that are angled out about 30 degrees. It also has its own fireplace!

Master bathroom is big and wide. We have a bathtub and a shower, and a closet is at the left of the sink here. Very convenient!
Now I'll take you from the entryway into the living room. The windows to the garden are something we love - so big and spacious. There are bars, so we feel safe in leaving them wide open to the outside. There is a big central fireplace, though we haven't used it yet, since it gets cool but not cold here - but maybe we will someday! Here are some pictures scanning around the living room.
The dining room has some French doors to the outside. It has a nook that we're using for another desk (Bill's). We don't yet have a dining room table, so it's rather barren, but we love the warm brick and the nice fireplace.
The kitchen has nice beams, a huge refrigerator with French doors, and a 6-burner gas stove!
At the back of the entryway, there is a lovely porch where we can sit and look at the gardens. We just got some hummingbird feeders!
