It talks about the improved outcomes of even major surgeries if patients do not receive a blood transfusion.
Has nothing at all to do with Guatemala, but I found it very interesting and even comforting. I reject blood transfusions on religious grounds, but am gratified to know that excellent results can be obtained. Bill had open heart surgery without use of blood.
