Her name is Witness. We had a couple stops, then arranged to meet them in a grassy area behind a parking lot behind a restaurant. In the meantime, Witness was picking up cakes and some gifts. The other friends were gathering. When we got there, there were about 15 friends gathering. It was amazing!
We visited for a while, ate cake and got to know each other. Then they sang us a song in Zulu. Then Catherine and Dan and I sang a verse of a song in Spanish to them (Bill and Mark declined; we had no illusions that we had the beautiful harmonies of the South Africans!), then Dan sang a verse in Chinese!
