Our life, boiled down to six bags

So, we have packed up almost everything, except a few charger cords and some last-minute things.

This is what our six suitcases look like. Seventy pounds each! (Plus two carryons and a personal item and a cat carrier). We are going first-class since that allows us three 70# suitcases each instead of one bag of 50#! In fact, just a couple days after we bought our tickets, the airline changed its policy to only allow two big suitcases - but we got in under the wire!

We did have some friends going to KC that brought a few other bags up for us, so we actually have a bit more than here is shown.

We leave tomorrow at noon to go to Guatemala City to a hotel, then Thursday morning we will leave the hotel at 5AM for an 8AM flight. We will arrive KC at 5PM.
