We are happy there are mangos again! They've been out of season for some months. I made a quick trip to the mercado today, and found mangos, and flowers along with our other shopping.
These are pictures of only two of the areas selling mangos.
Here are the roses I found - a dozen for 20 quetzals, about $2.50. (I could have bargained them down further, but I don't push it much - they're worth it to me!)
And calla lilies - 10Q for a dozen, about $1.25 - ten cents each stem!
I want to go!!!! you are such a motivation for me Nancy. you are so cool doing something with your retirement. not just staying in US. love you.
