A big hello to our friends in Garnett Kansas! We hear that you get together to share pictures in this blog, to get an idea of how Andy Burns is doing. Believe me, Guatemala has not changed our dear crazy Andy!
We were thrilled to welcome the most international of our new folks here for English... three sisters from Japan! Chitose Shiraishi, Hijiri Shiraishi (from Sendai, where the earthquake and tsunami were), Izumi Kashiwagi (Nagoya). We also welcomed Lara DeShields from New Jersey. She stayed with us a couple of days while she looked around for an apartment. Lara served for a few years in Mexico, in a Mexican Sign Language. We keep growing so fast... more are coming in March. It's like there is some energy field drawing people here!!! We keep looking at each other and shaking our heads!
