- Had the visit of the Spanish CO. He and his wife are from Chicago, but they've been serving in Central America in Spanish for many years. They are loads of fun and were a huge encouragement, providing a lot of help both to the English group while also supporting the Spanish congregation.
- We got to be part of a zone visit last Sunday! It was broadcast from Mexico City to all of Central America. Down here, they get this every year, but we explained that for us, it's a huge event because we rarely get to go up in the US!
- We are now in the middle of our first visit from the English CO! We're enjoying having them upstairs in the rooftop bedroom here. I've been cooking (though they protest that I shouldn't) and enjoying it.
The other big event is that the rainy season has apparently started a little early. We had a really good rain a couple days ago - then last night, we had a huge "tormenta" - thunderstorm - that felt like we were literally in a hurricane! The winds were unbelievable! We had rain pouring in under our doors, into the windows, everywhere. We were dashing for towels and brooms to sweep the water out. Tremendous thunderclaps, lightening - and the WIND driving the rain everywhere.
And today was beautiful. But - rainy season is beginning and we're happy that it will be getting greener around here.
